It must be new devlopment with in the las 6 months, if its any new development pertaining to youth and smoking, even better. Thank you for you help.

There is a new smoking cessation drug that was just approved by the FDA... Chantix is what it is called. It actually binds to the receptors that nicotine binds to. It is supposedly safe and does not interact with any other medications. I think this could apply to young adults.

Pfizer's Chantix was brought to market in the US on August 1, 2006. It had received final FDA approval in the spring. I can vouch for its effectiveness - it's pretty darn good!
