As stupid as this seems, I keep my hair in good condition by not using the same shampoo/conditioners on my hair. I buy a different one from my previous bottle when I'm running out. (This is because my hairdresser told me that your hair get used to a particular brand after a while and that brand become less effective).
I also condition after each wash, rinse the conditioner out and then re-apply a tiny amount of the conditioner and leave it in, then dry as usual. I only use hair dryers and straghteners when absolutely necessary (ie when I'm going out somewhere) and not for every day use. Hope this helps!!

None of that expensive shampoo thats for sure. I use Tea Tree shampoo, was recommended by a hairdresser at Toni & Guy in Edinburgh. Itcan be bought from tesco for about 70p. Once a fortnight I also put mayonnaise through my hair and then wrap clingfilm around it. I leave for half an hour then wash as normal. leaves it in fab condition. Also limit the use of products and starighteners on your hair to once or twice a week. Never comb your hair when its wet, it stretches it and snaps. Hope this helps.

You should change your type of shampoo often. I keep to kinds of shampoo in the shower. If you condition your hair try this step. If you have time, put a deep conditioner on your dry hair and comb through. put a shower cap or small trash bag over your head, you can clean etc. while this is conditioning. The cap/bag helps hold in heat. leave on for about 30 min. Then shampoo as usual, can also try 1 can of beer for shine. Egg whites too.

Depends on your hair type...you definately should have it trimmed every 6 to 8 weeks...just a little bit, like 1/2 inch...I use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner...try Aussie...mega moisture...it's good. I also use Citri-shine...it's a leave in syrum that you rub in to the ends and it makes your hair real shiny!

a conditioner. try Clairol herbal essenes conditioners, they have a variety so you can choose one that suits your hair type. you can get shampoos from the same range too. you'll find those in any supermarkets. but shampoos are just for cleaning your hair, not for keeping it in good condition, so you'll need a conditioner. and also use an intense deep conditioning mask once a week. you'll find one in boots, superdrug, etc.

I have used loads of different stuff but the best way i do things is not to treat it too much. I have a cut and blow every 3 months, I wash hair every other day and condition twice a week. when washing i wash with hot and rinse with cold.
This works for me, things is you need to know you haor type and work out what works for yu
