My hubby and I lived together for 3 yrs before we married, and at the time I thought it was ok. Now... if my son wanted to live with his girlfriend, I wouldnt be very happy about it. BUT, at the same time, I think it can be good, cuz you get to know each other really well before you actually commit to marriage.

Im back and forth on the idea of it. Its a tough one.

It's ok for everyone who is ok with it. It's only NOT ok for those who think there's something wrong with it. Couldn't you have figured that out for yourself? Apparently not....

P.S. According to The Bible, EVERYONE is a sinner and so EVERYONE is living in sin one way or the other. Or perhaps you think you are free of sin? There's a sure path to hell, dude.

It really does seem to be! With a divorce rate of 50% why get married?

Living in "sin" could be argued. In a lot of religions all the man has to do is say he is divorced and he is. ( Bias toward men I know)

Living with my then boyfriend, now husband was the best thing I ever did. We had a lot of crying and fighting learning to live with each other, but it worked. I learned I could live with him. We've now been married almost 6 years.

No. Many people believe you should be married before living together. (the fact you called it 'sin' should be an indicator to you.)

No. Not for everyone. Although it is a far more common practice now than it was 20 years ago, it is still not tolerated by everyone.

No, I do not believe it is OK. It is best to save yourself for marriage. You are giving away something precious to someone you may never marry. Not only sexually, but emotionally and spiritually. Your time and your love.

no i don't think it's okay and it never will be ok in the eyes of god. The world is changing and people attitudes about things like that are also changing. That is why everything is like it today because people are not living by the bible, but how they want to live which is unrighteous.

How does one not live in sin? We are all sinners, right? Aren't you the same as them?

Obviously it's not okay for you. It depends on the person. Not everybody is bound the rules you think they ought to be.
