This is more of a random relationship question. It doesn't really apply to me, but some of my female friends ask out guys... I've always been the old-fashioned type who waits for guys. But sometimes, I actually consider asking someone out--which I think is a little weird (for myself). But do guys think it's weird to be asked out? Or is it a good thing?

some guys like to be asked out because they themselves are too shy to ask anyone out (kinda like me lol) but then it all depends on who their interested in. I say just try and be friends with him to get an idea of how he feels towards you. if you get signs that he kinda likes you and is flustered whenever your around, then go for it, be dominating and ask him out. if not, just stick to being friends with him and let the relationship happen on its own. good luck.

Sometimes this has to happen in order for the two people to hook up. A lot of males are too shy and or don't believe that the girl would ever consider going out with them so they don't initate the dating process. But this is a new era and as such it is very acceptable for females to ask the guys out.

i think its a good thing so we don't have to be rejected we hate being rejected so if a girl asks us out then we can't be rejected.
