My fiancee just had foot surgery and is traveling to visit her parents. We have a rented wheelchair. Can we take this through security at San Jose Airport? Or do we need to check it with Airline and have their folks provide wheelchair assistance. If that is required, how do we schedule it?

You can take your own chair. It will be examined thoroughly.

they have to provide assecibility for diabliabled people but i would check with the airport to see how they acutally do this.
b4 you go make sure after you had everything set call b4 you go and make sure everything is set up right.
