I did this for a living a few times, believe it or not.
Yeah I was nuts!
But here's a secret. DON'T SAY ANYTHING.
that's right, if you say no, not right now, never don't bug me, swear, maybe next time etc, etc.
ANYTHING you say they put it down on paper, it goes to the supervisors, the supervisors just turn around and put that call right back on the call list. Cause they figure out what to say to you the next time you call to try to talk you into whatever they are calling about.

What you do is 'just hang up' .. yup that's right, just hang up.. cause that leaves them no other alternative then to scrap the paper.

Charities, businesses already with an established relationship, opinion pollsters and political candidates are all exempt from the do not call provisions.

Tell them not to call you anymore and hang up.

I turn the tables on them. I tell them my financial woes and then ask them for a donation!!
OR You can play along Tel them you'd love to give, hold on a sec, then count aloud as if you are counting change and don't stop till they hang up!!
OR Tell them you want to give them $175,000.00! Then renege because your spouse just informed you that money is ear marked for his liver transplant! "I'm Sooooo Sorry!"

I get agressive and swear at them, make them hang up on you - then they put you on their real blacklist that actually does work and they stop calling you.
