The age of the child will guide you as well as in what capicaty you are involved with the child. For instance - if you are a parent, there are things you can incorporate into daily routine tasks. If you are a teacher - there are guide points in the IEP that should guide you. And there are resources available to you thru your special education coordinator.
Assuming you are a parent & this is an infant - my experience with my son is that an Infant Stimulation Program proves very successful. I am a firm believer in both OT & PT for children. Both OT & PTs can give you suggestions for use in daily life that will help.
It can be done (says one mother to another party). God bless & good luck.
Oh yeah! And one more thing - never ever ever give up!

If you don't mind spending some money try http://linguisystems.com . This is a super site. The books are reasonably priced and you get a CD so you can reproduce the sheets. The books are already done up for you. They also have games, crafty stuff to learn, videos, flashcards. Check out the site. You also earn 'loot' for stuff you buy to use towards future purchases. Shipping is free in US and Canada.

I'm not sure where you live or how old your child is but you can go to THE SCHOOL BOX and got all sorts of htings to help.. I used to babysit a child that has Downs and was behind and her ot and pt used to say to get stuff from there It works. Just always remember to be patient with him/her. and like the person before me never give up.good luck

Is the child already in school...I'm assuming so because of the worksheets...what age and what services is the school giving the child?
