It really depends on several factors...
The Gender of the Person
The Weight of the Person
And the Matbolism
You See with a male it would take less time than it would a girl...
Say you are 150 pounds and you are a guy and you drink 3 beers, it is going to take you about 4-5 hours for it to get out of your system usally your body usally gets rid of about 3/4 of the single beer that you conusme and usally it's takes the alchole in all about for every 8 ounces about 6 ounces will be gone for an hour..
a girl is diffrent thou by far... usally is doubled.. but girls take less to get drunk with alchole.

I drank until midnight and still passed my pee test for work at 8 a.m. the next morning. A good night's sleep works wonders.

I think they say you burn an ounce an hour, that all depends on what you are doing and how healthy you are.
