OMG I did just that! I lost 54 lbs...in 9 months...here is my before and after pic: http://www.healthandstrength.net You can follow links on there for ideas on how I did it, like foods I eat and exercises I do...

I bought a few new pairs of pants and a few shirts when I first realized that I was losing weight, but with 9 months, I accumulated alot of new clothes...maybe spent about 250$...If you are going to venture on this amazing path of health, I would suggest NOT buying EXPENSIVE clothes until you get to your ideal weight. You will probably wear them a few times and not be able to again. I one time got a pair of Tommy Hilfiger jeans when I was 170 lbs...I wore em for maybe a month, then they looked retarded cuz I lost weight...now I am 127 and those things are HUGE! I shouldn't have bought them, but I learned later to wait and go on a shopping spree!

A couple hundred bones, I suppose. Then I'd just build the wardrobe up as I go, and as things wear out. Why? What would you spend?
