You can beelive in purgutory....Purgutory is place of purificationfor those who have died in God's grace, but not in a state of perfection. Nothing that is not perfect can enter into heaven. The bible says first we must be purified, like a diamond in a furnace. Thats purgutory.

There is Scripture that helps with the understanding of Purgatory but, this is something the Protestants didn't like so among other things it was thrown out with the 7 books of the Bible that the Protestants decided God was mistaken about.

Protestants do not believe in purgatory while Catholics do because their beliefs in what constitutes justification differ.
For classical Protestantism, if we accept Christ, Christ's justification covers us like white snow covers a manure pile. The Father sees only the justification (or the snow) covering our vile nature, so imputes us as justified.
For Catholicism, it is not a matter of extrinsic justification, but *inner transformation.*
Our whole being must be transformed into the likeness of Christ through and through (1 John 3:2-3).
That is a process that requires our whole lives.
Our whole lives should be a growth in the three theological virtues of faith, hope, and charity, with a purgation of the sins within us.
If the process of purification is not completed in this life, the task is finished in purgatory.
Nothing tainted can enter the kingdom of heaven (Revelation 21:27).
But this is a work of Christ's grace within us, merited by His Passion, Death, and Resurrection.
However, we are to cooperate by doing His will and accepting the crosses that He sends into our lives.

because it doesn't exist!!!!!!! I believe in the bible so if ANYONE can show me ANYWHERE in the bible that says ANYTHING about PURGATORY... I'll believe. But until then EVERYONE that believes in it without biblical reason are mindless followers that have no right to call themselves christian. I've read the bible. And I've looked for purgatory. It's just not in there. Don't believe me? Prove me wrong, I dare you. No in fact I defy you to even try.

We can and we do. 2 Maccabees (which Martin Luther conveniently cut out of the Bible) says that it is a holy thing to pray for the dead! This makes no sense unless there is purgatory. Here's why:
We cannot help the souls in hell, they are eternally damned.
We cannot help the souls in heaven, they are eternally saved.
1 Cor. 3:15 "But if someone's work is burned up, that one will suffer loss; the person WILL BE SAVED, but only as through FIRE!"
This cannot refer to hell, as we cannot be saved in hell. Heaven is not a place of suffering and fire. As Catholics, we believe this place is purgatory, for "nothing unclean shall enter it (heaven.)" Rev.
You can call it whatever you want, but there is a place of purging for those of us who do not have a mortal sin on our soul, but do have venial sin. Most of us have venial (less serious) sin on our souls when we die.
Catholics appropriately call this purgatory --a place of "purging"

You can believe in purgatory if you're catholic. That is a part of it's teachings. As a matter of fact, I just answered that one!
