I don't blame you for being unsure about it, that may be an indication you don't think it is wise. However, if you think it would still be a good idea, be with her! Have parental supervision, I mean you could work as a team. You don't need any kind of insurance for it like someone said, it is a kiddie business, people know that when they come by. Good luck and as long as you are there, you can keep an eye on her and the people she will be coming in contact with.

Definately not at 11/12 years old, there are too many weirdos.
If she wants to start up her own business tell her to keep her idea until she is 15/16.
If she does want some kind of responsibility there is no harm in a good old paper round.

a car washing business for a 12 year old. no she is way too young to set up a business but she can make and sell lemonade like 12 years olds do. and a car is too much to wash just for a 12 year old, too much responsibilty.

No, I don't think so....cars, strangers and children can be a horrendous combination especially when people start to find out about it. For family and friends maybe, with the friend or family member present for some extra pocket money.

If you or your husband are there to supervise the entire time, then yes. Otherwise, no way Jose!
How nice that your daughter wants to show responsibility. Too many kids walk around with their hands out today.

No you're being sensible, to set up a car wash bussiness you need liability insurance, and I doubt wether an 11 year old would be able to get such insurance
that's just one set back so tell her to get a paper round.

She is far too young and unless she is constantly supervised by an adult it is dangerous, there are other issues too...what if she accidentally damages a car? Does your insurance cover that damage?

You shouldn't have anything to worry about if you are present when it is happening or have your daughters friends, parents present.
