maybe popett but not pope and thats just cuz moms are moms and dads are dads but popeship has been a mens place to represent the father figure in society as nuns are the mother positions of cathlics and regardless of the understanding that a man and woman have for each others role in life boys go to the boys room and girls go to the girls room and to ask a king and queen to adress each other opositlywell it sounds strange and it would likey only last a lil while for the laughs and consider all the docements we would have to change that would be too much for some and then it would realy sound strange to say well i was born as a man then they changed me to a girl or i was a girl then they changed me to a dude and just think of all the legal proceedings was it a male or female uh guy female or girl female"" what do mean oh no your not one of those sex name changers are you?so pope nun and you wont be that slow

From what I hear there was a woman pope, she pretended to be a man. Not sure but I think there may be a book about her called Pope Joan.
It's on amazon.com Pope Joan by Peter Stanford.

Ask the pope if he can accept that.We have pastors who are women who are really filled with the power of the holy spirit. As for popes, it is still the matter of wait and see.

Only if she was allowed to become a Cardinal first, and then won a majority vote from the other Cardinals when it was time to select a new Pope. It's difficult enough getting a Pope who is not a white European.

Maybe but I doubt since historically the Christian religion hasn't been all that friendly to women where positions of authority are concerned. It's a very chauvinistic setup -you know, God the Father, his SON and the Holy Ghost are all said to be men - no women. Mary gets a lot of attention but that is a strange story in and of itself. Basically, she was given a position of importance to appease members way back when.
This male-dominance in the hierarchy has caused many Christian women to seek other religions and is one of the reasons why witchcraft is becoming so popular as they can serve any God they can make up, including goddesses.

No. Becuase a women could never be a bishop. Therefore..never a cardinal..therefore never a pope. Thats one of the "rules" that can not change.
