My 18 mo old child likes watching children's programs on tv. Since we live in California, they are all in English. I'm trying to teach her to be bilingual. She is starting to pick up English, so I think it's time to introduce her to Chinese too.

I don't know of DVDs, but you might want to check out Rosetta Stone software. It's very photo-based and includes pronunciation, so it would work well for even young children, but you'd have to lead them through it.
