Last night, I caught my daughter using my panties to wash our dog!! She also said that she used different ones to clean her shoes. I looked in my drawer, and they were wet and dirty. How should I punish her? She's thirteen, and I already took away her cell phone, computer, television, and have grounded her for six months.

Well it sounds like youre already doing a good job of punisher her now. I'd talk to her. Using your undies could be the start of somethnig much worse. She obviously rebelling and 6 months of that punishment will only make her do worse. Id ask what made her do this? What is going on in her life that she wants to talk about? Im pretty sure theres something shes holding back.

What? You let her keep her credit cards?
Seriously, I would make her do laundry for about a month! Not all of it, but just the underwear for everyone in the house, yours, dads, other siblings. Better yet, why not everyone "forget" to wipe after using the restroom for about a month. Then when her laundry day comes every week, she gets to handle everyone's stinky, brown-stained underwear. After a month of being grossed out by the family's fecal stains, she'll get the message!
And she won't need a six-month grounding. Like that's going to work anyway.

Just remember that punishment is part of discipline. Discipline means to teach as in disciple.
You can help her deal with the rage she seems to have against you and please do not cut her off from her world completely.Try to talk to her every day about what is making her so mad and remember that the use of your clothes is her way of getting back at you.Try spending some time with her.She feels she isn't being noticed. The two of you can go shopping for new panties together.
Nothing like mother/daughter time.
I wish you the best.

You daughter sounds like she wants your attention and she will do anything to get it even if it comes down to what you mentioned.
Grounding her is not going to solve this issue. You will need to take more time and spend with her to figure out what is going on in her mind. She is going through puberty and all kinds of new emotions could be a full swing right now.
Keep the communication open between the both of you and never stop encouraging her. She really needs that and she will definitely thank you later on in life.
Hope this helps.....

I think your plan good enough. The next thing you should make her do is clean all the panties she messed up. Oh yeah, and if you give her allowance, use her allowance to buy you some more panties. That seems fair.

well, you've got one pissed off daughter....and so she can't hit you or physically beat you up, so she attacks your underwear! It's time for a good therapist who will listen to your daughter and help her understand herself. You don't mention why she is so punished...and perhaps a good therapist can help you to find another way to lovingly discipline her. She does need to feel trusted so that she acts trustworthy, etc....Somehow you need to find the positive things about your daughter and praise, reward and brag about those things....you build on the positives...you don't want to convince her she's a worthless loser...you'll invite negative behaviors and run out of underwear!

Six months grounding is a little long, but I would make her do all the household laundry, including folding, putting away, etc. And she has to do it right.

i think thats punishment enough, but taking away computer, noo thats not really a punishment, And I realize it was the wrong thing to do, but maybe you should sit her down in a calm manner and explain to her that she should not be doing that
