Wow, I usually try to give the whole gift...Looks like someone kept the best parts of ur gift...or maybe it was clearanced...oh well...I think all u do is put cheese or chocolate into the bowl and light it up...U can get creative and use something else for forks or get some at any store...For instance u might be able to use something like shish kabob sticks...doubt it matters...as long as u dip ur food...it's all good and fun!

You could try yard sales or Salvation Army or Goodwill for forks for cheap. There are so many people getting rid of old fondue sets. But now they're back in, so any kitchen shop should have them.

Fondue can be fun. Tons of recipes out there. Anything from cheese fondue to beef bourgingon. I personally like cheese fondue.

here is a web site I found
http://fantes.com/fondue_instructions.htm
I used a fondue set once in Europe, we just bought the thing from the supermarket it was already prepared but we had to add some stuff...
I'm sure you can also buy the forks online...

Light the burner that is at the base, place cheese or chocolate in the pot above the burner (like a tiny camp fire) and use the forks to dip bread or marshmallows etc into the melted cheese sauce or melted chocolate.
I am sure they sell the forks at Walmart or any hardware store.

if you cant find the forks you can use bamboo skewers soaked in water until you find forks ...they work just as good...make sure you get the long ones

you don't need forks for it you just need to get some cocktail sticks they work just as well as the forks.
