considering I'm holding my kitten right now i would say yes and with your hands or you could use a brush because most kittens love to be pet but if yours really doesn't like it tried to kill you when you tried to pet it than i would just leave it alone

By all means pet you kitten. Cats and kittens like to be fussed over - just pick him up and hold him and pet him with you hands.

I think if you have to ask such a question.... maybe you should rethink having a kitten at all. You should pet the kitten with your hand... this is a disturbing question - poor kitten.

yes with your hand and is it's really small gently with your fingers afew things cats like are nice soft smooth strokes along their back or if ya start with the top of the head down the back to th very end of thier tail they love that!

No. your not allowed to pet it. Your only allowed to look at it. If you touch the kitten its mother will file harrassment.

Mmmmm....most definitely you should pet your kitten. First, slowly and gently, and then harder and faster. That's definitely the way to do it. And I would definitely pet with your hands and fingers, although, most kittens like to be licked with your tongue as well. Yes. If you want a happy kitten, you must pet it.
