my boyfriend broke up with me about a week ago. i still miss him and everything but now i like this ohter guy and he likes me.(he's asked me out already) i want to say yes but i dont know if it is too early. i dont want to go down the whole rebound road. plus that wouldnt be fair to this other guy. has it been long enough. or should i wait a little while longer.

I don't buy this whole rebound theory...do what you like...no one is holding you back...

You sound like someone who's spouse just died! You are not married, and he was obviously just a boyfriend, so why does it matter?? You like the boy then GO FOR IT!! You don't have to wait! Were you in love with him or something?? Just go for the new boy if that's what you wish to do! Let the other one know what he's missing!

quick test,,,when you wake up,,do you still think of him within the first hour,,if you do,,make it clear to the other person you are just out of a relationship so you want to just have fun for the minute,,this keeps them at bay and forgives any name confusion when you call him by your ex,s name,,dont be rushed and just treat it as better than sitting alone at home.just because you accept a date doesnt mean you are thinking long term and if you do end up liking this guy,,it will be because you didnt force yourself and was always honest about your situation.

nobody can answer this question for you except you. how long were you with the first guy? i mean come on, if you dated month, then that's a lot different than if you'd been dating for years. there are too many variables that you don't even bring into the picture, i.e. how serious were you, blah blah blah, and regardless, nobody on yahoo answers knows how you feel or where you are emotionally. that's something only you can decide.

Wait and get to know this person. Decide if you like him or not. Everything happens for a reason, maybe you'll end up falling in love with the new guy.

I depends if you really do ike your old boyfriend. If you do then you should maybe just wait a little while. But if you are totally over him then go for it because he totally broke ur heart. SO MAKE HIM FEEL THE WAY YOU DID!!!!!!!

Go out with the new guy. Don't worry about your ex. If you feel ready then a week is enough time.

Wait awhile and sort your feelings out. It's best not to jump right into something so quickly.
