This may be a very strange question, but please answer if you know. I will be flying on Lufthansa next month on a 747 out of SFO. Does anyone know if the aircraft has adjustable air flow above each seat? (IE: Are there knobs that you can turn to adjust the amount of air blowing down on you?) I flew last year on British Airways, and there was no way of adjusting the air. It was unbearably hot and stuffy the whole 10 hour flight.

Yes, there are individual air flow controls above each seat. I usually really like Lufthansa for long haul flights--they're nearly as good as the best Asian airlines (such as Singapore or Thai)

You can try looking here:

for more info on their fleet.

No concerns. Airbus pointed out the reason and sent out worldwide observe to all A380 operators, who're imposing the fixes. in the event that they weren't risk-free to fly, regulatory companies does no longer enable them to. the situation is nicely extensive-unfold and for this reason taken care of, you're able to nicely ensure each and every thing is going to be basically wonderful. And even although I hate Lufthansa, they're very respected airline with an magnificent risk-free practices record. relax and revel interior the skies.

Yes there is :)

I haven't flown Lufthansa, but I've flown on other Boeing aircraft, and they all have adjustable air nozzles. You can adjust it, but I'm not sure how since I haven't use the air nozzles.

Happy travels! :)
