yep the word of god became flesh see _genes _of _dna=god sothat bible verse is true and we are gods children so yes god is a somebody but some fear to claim their godship and some thought it partly od but a few brave people accepted the G so if im a G and ur a G and we speek to others of us and our beleifs then we speek of Gesus but then some thought they were gutteral guesses or geeses so the J was adopted and jesus became the peoples name so theres alot of somebodies there and i think god in the bible spoke against lifeless idols so gods not a something but a someone who controled alot of somethings and if there was a time when all liveing were not as we are today then we must have been with god as one heck of a mighty spiritual hand so what do you think now ?

God is a person

2006-11-04 06:33:17 · answer #3 · answered by Mark Fidrater 3 · 0 0

Yes, God is a personal being (although not in bodily form).

A person is defined as a being with intellect, free-will, and value judgments, and is the subject of rights and responsibilities.

Non personal beings do not possess that.

If God were impersonal, we would rank higher than He does, no matter what *its* other attributes are, for personhood is the highest of the ontological values.

An impersonal absolute, as many people think God is, is a contradiction in terms.

The idea of a personal God is ludicrous. If there were such a thing as God I believe it would be more like the cosmic consciousness of Buddhism-a universal oneness of which we are all an integral part.
