There have been reported cases of people who have submitted papers, had background checks done and been found to be above board have been turned down, or deported, because they don't meet the financial eligibility rules ... which is ironic, since the illegals tend to use the catchphrase "they are here for a better life" ...

While all the rules pertaining to immigration should be observed, I do find it ironic that a lot of people have a bleeding heart for those who blatantly ignore the rules, but not a word being said about those who try and follow the rules and fail ... at least the latter TRY to do it legally ...

No.

The only way LEGAL Immigration will be affected is if the politicians let the "illegal aliens" jump in line ahead of them. Then that would be unfair!

By not making the "illegal aliens" obey our laws and giving them preferential treatment would be unfair to everyone including the American taxpayers!

I think it has caused a problem. When people watch the illegals marching in the streets, disrespecting our laws and desecration our nations flags its not a good thing for others trying to enter via the legal route. It creates a back lash of resistance from the legal citizens.Remarks by the radical Marxists groups like La Raza and others don't help you at all. They are doing the illegal far more damage than the illegal is doing himself.to his cause. The Hispanic trying to come legally may encounter problems because of it.

"We have an aging white America ... They are dying ...We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him." Jose Angel Gutierrez, professor, University of Texas, Arlington and founder of the La Raza Unida political party

"If anyone's going to be deported, it's going to be you! ... Get out! We are the future. You're old and tired. Go on. We have beaten you – leave like beaten rats. You old white people, it is your duty to die. Right now, we're already controlling those elections, whether it's by violence or nonviolence. Through love of having children we're going to take over." Augustin Cebada, information minister of Brown Berets, militant para-military soldiers of Aztlan shouting at U.S. citizens at an Independence Day rally in Los Angeles.

Probably not. We (the USA) should cut back on all immigration until we get control of the illegal situation. (Imho) The ones coming here legally do not appreciate those sneaking across our borders, while they had to go through the long, tedious and expensive way. It is not fair to them to see those illegals possibly get amnesty and jump ahead of the line. Illegals do NOT deserve amnesty.

Not anymore ! Marrying someone would not make u legally that easy now. U have to live together & show tens & tens of proof of good faith marriage, letters, pictures, bills, joint bank accounts, joint lease, vacation trips together, ..& at the end a lengthy interview .

Beyond a doubt. Any time you inject negativity into any positive action you open a Pandora's box to scrutiny, mostly negative and the positive aspects of the matter are suddenly overwhelmed by by little minds doing little thinking.
