Well to start with you are 16. This age, and several on either side, have your hormones raging and your moods will be unpredictable.
One thing you should not do is listen to slow sad songs when in this state. It truly makes it even worse. Especially if it is country.
You are depressed about something. That is why you cry and sleep a lot. You do need to find out if there is something that could help you here.
There is medication that can take you back to normal but only from a doctor.
Tell all this to you mom. Ask if you can go to the family doctor to see if they can help.
This is real for you and please do not discount it. Your feelings of being an outcast may come from your isolation while crying and sleeping or may simply be the depression.
There are things that can help but you have to go check it out.
Please do not let it continue without talking with someone about it. It may not get better on it's own.

Hormones are an awful thing for girls your age. My fiance has a girl aged 17 and she sounds an awful lot like you at present. She sleeps away her day and has missed an awful lot of school because of this also. You may want to see a counselor and see if they can help but in the long run what it is is just teenage life and the fact that you are still basically a child but also changing into a young adult. There are a lot more temptations and freedoms at your age also and some are very hard to resist, so as to fit in with peers. Sex, drugs, booze are readily available and are norms for kids your age. Best of luck to you in overcoming your problems and I hope you are able to outgrow this sooner rather than later.

Go see a Doctor...You are suffering from clinical depresion and judging by your age it is probably due to a change in your bodies hormone levels, normal at this age for both sexes..Does not hurt to see a doctor.. Whatever you do, do not drink as this is a catch 22.. You may feel better after 1 or two drinks but after this the depressive effects of the alchol kick in and you may be worse off. If you were brave enough to ask the question you matter to me and I would hate to see you become self destructive...

Sounds like you are a little depressed. Talk to a friend or your parents about this. Sometimes it feels better when you talk about it. If you don't want to talk to your parents or friends you can always talk to your school councellor or your favourite teacher. We all feel a little blue sometimes but sometimes you need help to get out of the depression. Best of luck.
