if a ingredient in a cookie or cake or something lists "natural and artificial flavorings" wat is this and is it halal.meaning do they use alcohol in any sort of way

To add to other answers I just want remind you that "lard" is not halal for the muslims, if it is in the pastry.

I am not Muslim, sorry, but remember if alcohol is added to something that is cooked, the alcohol evaporates off, leaving only the flavor. Natural and artificial flavoring should not contain any alcohol.

Alcohol is not halal in any kind ways...

The alcohol not for Muslims and Muslims doesn't use it for any kind of foods, if there is alcohol in the food. No exceptions.

The food or drink religiously.

Natural and artificial things are Halal for Muslims.
what is not halal is :
for food "pig" or "pork" is not halal .
and Dead Meat that's be "mixed" not halal .

1.Natural and artificial
2.Alcohol
Alcohol is not Halal for Muslim
while Most Natural and artificial
things are Halal for Muslim
