I have downloaded some video files on my computer and was wondering if there was a way that i could put them on a dvd cd. I need to know the format the video has to be in, the type of blank cd I need and the software I need to burn them with. And also a converter that will convert .avi files to the file type I need. Thanks

Yes, there is a way
I use Cucusoft avi/mpeg to cd/dvd converter. It converts to the proper video format for your dvd player and burns too!

1. Download the converter here: http://www.burner-software.com/AVI-to-DVD-Converter/MPEG-AVI-to-DVD-VCD-Converter.html install and run
2. Click the "To VCD" button [VCD stands for Video CD]
3. Drag and drop as many video files as the cd can handle
4. Insert blank cd [any blank cd-r media will be ok]
5. Click 'convert' and enjoy watching on your DVD player =)
