Through the years my family physician misdiagnosed my symptoms twice. I took it upon myself to go to other doctors. I was diagnosed with Lupus of all things and he missed it!
Don't ever take NO for an answer or there's nothing I can do for you, especially when you know something is wrong.
Also, I went through a similar situation when I ruptured a disc in my back.
Always get a second opinion. My suggestion for a physician would be a neurologist. If you end up needing surgery, an orthopedic that does laser surgery. Surgery should be a last resort, and if all else fails. Your neurologist can recommend a pain clinic, which can be very beneficial.

Well Blondie, listen to me and listen carefully. I have a degenerative disease. I've had back surgery seven times, this includes the hands, I'm going through that now.
Go to an internal medical specialist or a neurologist, right now, don't suffer, there's always help.
You may need to file for Social Security Insurance, the doctors office will help with that, you can make a phone appointment but, first things first, get that appointment now.

Sweetie, I've had 5 lumbar fusions for this very reason. I have degenerative disc disease. I know how excruciating this is. YOU DO NOT NEED TO SUFFER. You need to get another doctor. I would recommend an orthopedic surgeon. At the very least, you need an MRI to give you a definitive diagnosis. There are entirely too many ways to ease pain for you to suffer just because 1 doctor said there is nothing that he can do. Good luck

What did your chiropractor tell you.. or have you asked one? They are usually the last resort to get rid of back pain.

Go to a pain management clinic if there isn't anything your doctor can do for it.
