I usually put my hair into 3 big braids the night before I go to bed so I could wake up with big, wavy hair. Yet, as I try to use the rubber band to secure the braids, they left funny lines to the bottom part of my hair. How can I fix this problem? Thanks

a way some people keep there hair braided without hairties is they burn the ends. but that is for longtime braids and i totally would not suggest doing that. They do have hair elastics that dont have grips that leave marks in your hair. Try walmart, rite aid, walgreens, or cvs/ Hope it help. By the way the wave thing is totally cute !!

Unfortunately, the one way to do that would be braid it ALL the way to the tippity-tips. Otherwise, your best bet would be to use a curling iron to wave the remaining hair. A tiny trick I used to use though, is instead of making a nice clean ponytail with the elastic, make a sloppy one, so the hair is all 'caught up' and leaving the elastic in different directions. it bends the hair in different shapes, so it doesn't leave you all straight!

Wrap the end of your braids with a small piece of cloth and then put the rubber band.

I do the same thing as you, but my hair is already curly, I do it so it wont get tangled... But just braid it until you can't braid it anymore and it will stay... Thats what I do!
