Im 16 years old with a boyfriend who has been in jail for 6 years hes very nice to me and stuff but i dont look him in his face only when we kiss because im afraid to see the pain in his eyes and i dont want him to see the stress in my face i know he has something on his mind that he doesnt want to say how can i get him to open up to me i know hes been through alot and i want him to know that i love him and i will be there no matter what how can i get him to know this

You are only 16 for goodness sake. You should still be studying and promoting yourself to a future career. Why are you ruining your life wasting your time on premature love?
I would say you care for this friend of yours. Ok there's no harm in this. But first of all communicate with somebody professional who can guide you in your future paths. I am saying this because you are still in your teens. Should you drive your own carriage you will discover that your early 20's will be hard to handle.
Life is wonderful but can be truly hard if not carefully planned ahead. Take my advice and prepare for your future in a truly manner ONLY TO YOURSELF and not for others. Sorry to be frank but to us, you may do whatever you like with your life. I would say it is worth living it properly.

He's been in jail for 6 years?!?! Did you meet him when you were 10? Now I'm not a psychiatrist, but I really don't think this is healthy. Sorry I can't answer your question, I just think the whole thing is odd.

hay um you need to be worrying about school and college and growing up you dont need to be worrying about this man that is apparently going through his own drama without the stress of yours so do the right thing and move on with your life

if hes in jail you do not have a real relationship.
wait for him to get out first
then work on trust
from there you'll both have more stable grounds to grow.
