Make sure you apply pressure for like 15 minutes to stop bleeding (if any). And wash cut with soap and water *don't use alcohal, it will make it worse. Pat dry. I know this sounds wierd, but I've heard this and tried this before, sprinkle powdered cinnimon lightly on cut and use a bandaid-really works to heal fast (I work in a restaurant so I need cuts to heal fast). Try not to mess with it either, you don't want an infection.Good Luck! *tip-make sure you do let the cut air dry too, your skin needs to breath in order to heal*

Using a triple antibiotic like Neosporen (pardon the spelling) usually helps cuts heal faster. Also as much as possible let it be open to the air. What I mean is when you first cut your self using a bandaid is a good idea till it scabs over. But after that you should take the bandage off unless you're doing something that could easily reinjure yourself or if your doing something really dirty like workin on your car. So when you first cut your self... Put some triple antibiotic on a bandaid and leave it on for about a day... then let the air get at it. AND DON"T MESS WITH IT lol

I used to use this stuff called Mercuriochrome (sp?) when I danced and cut my feet -- would harden the cuts to the point I could dance right on the open sores within 24 hours.

Other than that, neosporin and as much open air as possible. Keep the wound as dry as possible, too.
