Yes. 'God' is what each of us perceives it is. In fact, our entire reality is subjective as well. That's why our positive attitude has such an impact.

Little problem there. If God were a subjective experience, he could not have an objective existence. If that were true, God would essentially not exist. THen all experiences of "god" are simply subjective experiences with no more value than warm fuzzy feelings. But NOBODY really believes reality is truly subjective. Not even those who claim to believe in relative truth and whatever feels good to you because if everything is only a subjective experience, well...the very claim that everything is only subjective is no more reliable than a person's subjective experience of "god". How could anyone know anything if there is no objective universal standard to which everything must measure up? Yet interestingly, even the people who proclaim that truth is relative and subjective spend great energy trying to pursuade people that the objective universal standard of the world is that there is no objective universal standard. In other words, you cant even argue against objectivity without assuming objectivity. The relative, subjective view of reality is fatally unworkable.

I always get confused by people that say there is no objective reality. The universe exists, plain and simple. If I wasn't here, it would still exist. If you weren't here, it would still exist. If humanity was not here, it would still exist.
I do believe that consciousness is intimately entwined in the process of creation in the universe, so in a sense it is subjective. But there is still a big everything, that simply is the way it is no matter what we think about it.
Our beliefs controls how we interact with existence and thus changes existence. However, God, or existence is not dependent upon our belief. It is a paradox.

All experiences are subjective and if you experience G-d, your experience is yours alone. To objectify a spiritual awareness diminishes its value. The value of the experience may not be immediate but it is valuable. Take what you understand now and enjoy it-the rest will be revealed as you continue your path.

God's not an experience - he's a Somebody.
fiveshiftone - Then if you don't believe I exist, I don't? Faulty argument - sorry. Existence is not based on belief.

we were created to have an intimate relationship with God,but because of our deliberate sin we lost this priviledge, God is reality personified and to stay in the real(reality) is to stay connected to God.
human terminology will never limit the eternal God.

Jewel_Flower: He's only a "Somebody" if you believe he exists. That makes him a subjective experience.
The answer is yes. Too many people cannot understand that others don't believe God exists. "And if you become Christia--" "No thanks, I don't believe in your God." "But if you don't, He will send you to Hell!" "... I don't believe in Hell, either." "If you go to Hell, you will be very unhappy. :<" "Go away."
