is it wrong to dream that you have a child?

Question

what does it mean when you dream that you are having a boy and girl but don't have a child in real life and not pregnant because i dream in pregnant with a boy and girl and always think they are going to be vertical twins but i don't have twins in my family so how could this be

It's normal and dosesn't neccesarily mean you want to have children. According to wikipedia: "The events of dreams are often impossible or unlikely to occur in physical reality, and are usually outside the control of the dreamer."

There has been a lot of speculation and interruptation on what dreams mean, what the imagery can mean. Some people take it literally, like you dreamt about having babies so you must want a baby, while others look for symbolic meanings.

I think what is important here is how you react to your dream when you are awake and fully conscious. Maybe you haven't considered that the children could represent something else. For example, here are some interruptations about babies from dreammoods.com:

It can be a bit confusing, especially when you consider how many different ways there are to interrupt dreams and all the theories that exist (Frued for example would probably have a very different view).

I guess the important thing is to not worry too much about your dreams. If you do, then read about the different interruptations until you find one that speaks to you.

No such thing as being wrong about a dream. You don't control what you dream and people produce far worse than the dreams you describe. Most people believe that sleep is your mind taking the opportunity to do some filing of the thoughts and sensory input you had when you were awake and dreams are a glimpse of that process in action so if having children is on your waking mind you can expect it to show up in your dreams.

Sometimes we dream of what we want out of life or if we seen it in a movie. Basically it has been on your mind at some point that is why your dreaming about it. Or your conscious is working over time maybe your going to be pregnant soon.

I have dreams about having a baby all the time!! and I don't have any yet! Dreams are just dreams! Maybe subconsciously you really want a baby! (someday!)

Well...maybe you might be dreaming that because its something that you want deep inside. I have had those kinds of dreams, where im having a baby, sometimes its a boy, and sometimes its a girl, but its normal. so i wouldnt worry about it.

There are lots of women out there who really want to be mothers, and they usually turn out to be good ones, too. My guess is that you are someone with a strong maternal instinct, and that children (definitly more than one!) are something you really want in your life. Good for you, someday you will be a great mom! Pick the daddy carefully, and marry him before you get prego. That will make it easier for you to be the best mom you can be for your future babies!
