In the UK, anyone can go to the post office and ask them to reveal the true address behind a PO Box adress. I would guess the same may be true in most countries.

In the UK almost everyone (wrongly) assumes that a PB Box is a way to hide - it isn't, ANYONE can legally request (and be given) the correct address of the person/entity running the PO Box.

I have done this myself when unethical traders have tried to hide behind a PO Box. Bad move - lol

For mailing purposes the credit card company probably doesn't care. You won't get approved, however, until your credit has been checked and your address(es) verified via one or more of the major credit bureaus. Bottom line: they will still have your physical address

As the mailing address. No company will issue you credit if you refuse to tell them where you live -- it's a giant red flag.

I did. I also learned that life is easier without them. One word for when you are in over your head, settle.

it depends, on which credit company. You need to ask the company.
