If it is white rice your options are numerous. One way is to make a fried rice. Just spread the rice out on a cookie sheet and break up all the clumps. Then cut up some vegetables, I like to use carrots, peas, onions, celery, water chestnut, and green onions. When you cut them make sure they are even in size so that they will all be done at the same time. I also like to add eggs to mine. To start, take out a wok or skillet heat over medium, add a Little butter and scramble one or two eggs depending on how much rice you have and your likes. Do not cook the eggs all the way, just until they are firm. Remove the eggs and set aside. Reheat the pan on high and add two or three tablespoons of canola or peanut oil, here I like to add a teaspoon of toasted sesame oil, add the vegetable and saute them for four to five minutes. Add the rice in and mix it around, and then add in some soy sauce and the eggs and cook till it is heated through. My family loves this rice especially when I make Mongolian beef.

The easiest way to reheat rice is in the microwave in a covered container. It will steam as it heats. It doesn't take long 1 - 2 minutes.

I use a steaming pot. If you don't know what that is, it is a big pot to put a small amount of water in to bring to a boil. Then place a strainer or sieve in it so the rice doesn't come in contact with the water. Basically like a double boiler. Use the steam to re-heat the rice. I use this to steam vegetable and to re-heat them when they are cold.

Just put it in the microwave. Rice heats up quickly. I like my rice dryer so I don't add water.

If it's still in a styrofoam plastic container, remove it and put it in a microwave dish .Spray a little water on it, cover it with a damp paper towel, and nuke it for a couple of minutes. Stir it and eat.

you shourld ray a little amount of water into the rice before reheating it, by that way, the rice would not become so dry.

fire up the microwave....add a bit of water to your chilled rice so you don't end up with crispy rice.....and reheat.....too much water will make it soggy.

If this is chinese fried rice....a little oil in a pan and on the stove toss in a wok.
