Honestly, I don't think I would. The reason is that I am 28 and I would like to have a family of my own. I would not feel comfortable stepping into an existing family situation. I guess if I were interested in just dating the person and nothing more, then it would probably depend. Tough question, but for me it would be no.

I would and have. It should make no difference apart from certain questions of logistics, scheduling and personal relationships.
I had a girlfriend who was a young single mother and I know she had a child before we went out. She and the child came as an indivisible unit and made for a wonderful being. I found it actually added to the fullness of the experience for me because apart from the relationship, I got to enjoy a bit of what parenthood would be like. She had the benefit of being able to leave her child with her parents and go out. Other times I'd babysit for her or we'd make an outing around the child. Our break up had nothing whatsoever to do with there being a child involved in the relationship.
Obviously one has to calculate the age of the child, the child's feelings with respect to their mother dating, where the father is in the picture.
For me there is the added factor that I want to be a father too, so I'd want to know if the "factory" would be closed or not when considering a long-term relationship or the definitive relationship.
All in all, children in the equation should be a positive. If they aren't, the man might add up to the right answer.

what do you mean what would be the right time to tell them you got kids you be upfront from the start. i got a little girl and im proud of her so even the first nite i met someone i would make sure they knew. no crossed wires or hard feelings that way. and men do date women with kids some even love it ready made family.

Well not sure. I'll put it to you this way. To a single guy, a women with kids is extra baggage. To him it's another big obstacle in a relationship. He knows that there not his kids and he kinda understand that they relationship between him and the kids will always be a little akward. Also he knows the father will always be around. Very few guys want to deal with that. There are so many women out there they will just look for one with no kids. However, they might try to go out with you just to bang you then leave.

I have. Got 2 more now with another on the way. Her eldest lad, now 9, is such a wonderful kid. Hes accepted me but never calls me dad and reminds everyone else who asks. He respects me, responds to my requests and never cheeks me. We are growing fond of each other daily, whether he sees his dad or not. And most of all he doesn't throw anything back in my face about what his natural father buys him. He shares his things with the others. Hes just fab-just likes the rest-and loved the same.

Well sure---if the lady has kids you would ave to LOVE them as much as you would her for the relationship to continue.
Its sad when guys wanna be with a woman and totally ignore the little ones -like they are just going to go away!
