First of all, the scientific theory evolution is trying to explain a set of facts . A fact is an observation by men (note plural) independent of location. Evolution is a theory.
Just so we are clear, evolution theory has been observed at the macromolecule level: It explains the observes activity.
Now to your question: Has anyone observed a missing link? To my knowledge no, but no one has proven that there is no missing link.
What we have is a scientific theory, a working scientific theory, that explains the facts. When we demonstrate “missing link”, the theory of evolution will be adjusted accordingly.
Let me give you a brief tour of brief systems: We have two: Revelation and Science. Simply put, God reveals, man observes.
We know that science is a collection of theories that explains the facts. If newer facts contradict the theory, a new theory is formed to explain the facts. Nothing more.
What about "revealed" knowledge? Since I am a Christian (follower of Christ), I believe (not observe) that the [Christian] bible is the word of God as spoken through the prophets. God's word does not change. If it is in the bible, it is there for all time. For example, God is spirit, God existed before He created all the man can observe (the heavens and the earth), etc. Are there proofs of God in the bible? No, the reader assumes it. The reader believes it.
Let us go back to your missing link question. Is Evolution Theory (including the search for the missing link) in the bible? No. Not one word of the bible is devoted this topic. We know the results of God’s actions, but we do not know God’s methods.
One last point assuming you are a Christian. Every once in a while, I see this question usually asked by Christians. As Christians were asked by Jesus to teach (not argue) all nations. Tell me how this question helps this effort.

Is that what evolution really states? If you don't know what evolution is then how can you expect people to give you a serious answer. You go away and find out what evolution really states then get back to us. There are 5 million classified species-there are several hundred complete fossil records showing evolutionary change therefore "missing links" in some species mean nothing-shame the creationists don't grasp that.
P.S. The following link is for Palaver. Why bother engaging in total lies-you only get exposed as a bullshitter.

No I can't... scientist and anthropologist have developed a time line when various species of primates, modern humans included, appeared and disappeared based on carbon dating and the geologic record. They have surmised that changes in physical appearance, locomotion and brain development changed one species into another through evolution, and it all seems like a logical progression. However there are time and geographical gaps in the theory and no definite links in the progression can be absolutely proven, I guess that's why it's called a theory? They say modern humans have been around virtually unchanged for approximately 130 thousand years? So if the cave dwelling nomadic hunter/gatherers were as intelligent as modern humans from the beginning, why did it take roughly 120 thousand years for the first historical advancements in language, writing, art, science, hardware and durable architectural structures to take place? What suddenly happened to take us from cave dwellers to computers in such a short time? Where's that missing link?

Are you seriously asking that? Do you not know what happenens to people when they die! They rot and decrade and become part of the earth! Which means no bones would be left! And if you had a clue the skeletons that have been found like lucy, were some how fosilized by the type of environment they were in! Do the research! And then you can find your answer! That or evolve to the state were you actually use your brain!

There are thousands and thousands of them. The easiest examples are among planktic foraminifera, because the fossils are simple and incredibly abundant, with a world-wider distribution, and because sympatric speciation occurred.
eg. Globigerinoides trilobus to Globigerinoides bisphericus to Praeorbulina sicana to Orbulina universa.

Archaeopteryx
Australopithecus afarensis
plenty "transitional" fossils listed here: http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/faq-transitional.html , the term transitional fossil or missing link is meaningless btw, every living thing is evolving all of the time (or they become extict).

Homo Erectus, indeed! Homologous structures and similar forms do not necessarily represent intermediate forms. e.g. take the bones of rather dead dodo - a member of the pigeon family, i.e. similar but different. It's similarities of relationship do not put it in a line of descent leading to the pigeons of central Park, though.
No, there are NO intermediate forms known to science, not even one. This does not mean that evolution doesn't happen only that Darwinian evolution doesn't look like a good bet any more. Science needs to free itself from the Darwinian *ideology* and take fresh look at the undoubted relatonship among the various similar structures found in fossils and present-day creatures.
