Be a good citizen and vote when it is your time. Oppose the war in a lawful way. Make sure that politicians are blamed for the war and not the soldiers.
I am sure that there are a few in the military that think the war in Iraq is wrong. But faithful to their oaths the go on serving. You can support them best by lobbying your politicians and Voting!

Troops are the brave children of a county. They sacrifice their life for their country and for the people. They wake and guard so that the nation can sleep without fear.
Its our duty to see if our troops are fighting for the nation or fighting for just a few. If we are opposed to a war its because the war is not for the country rather its just for a few.
So when we demonstrate against such type of war Its means we are supporting our troops.

The best thing you can do is not to protest openly. When the enemy sees that we are not united then They step up attacks and our boys die. The liberals are using the war to gain politically. They do not like the president or his views. So by attacking him and the war they are jeopardizing lives of our troops. Most of them voted for the war anyway but now they think that attacking the president they can gain politically. So go ahead and stand on the street with one of your anti war signs and see what happens because I guarantee you the enemy is. Oh by the way ,did you forget about 9-11. Stand behind the troops not on the street. If you want to protest do it with your vote dummy.

I thank them for keeping us safe even though I am against the war. Even though we shouldn't have started the war, it has reached a point where we aren't safe now because we brought Al Qaida to Iraq. If our troops leave, the terrorists will come here to get revenge on us. So our troops really are keeping us safe. I also send them boxes of supplies.

You support the troops by doing things to ensure their future safety. Vote for people who will stop the war. Make your congress representative send things like vests. Make sure that congress doesn't water down veterans' benefits which always happens once the war is over and the poor amputees are stuck with no medical care.
You participate in anti-war rallies.
You don't get into inane arguments that supporting troops is like being a vegatarian (Republicans can't spell)
You keep recruiters away from you kids unless you're upper class. If you're middle class or lower, the odds of your kid being killed in Iraq simply escalate exponetially.

The sad fact is that most of the people who claim to 'support the troops' but work to sabotage what they are risking their lives to achieve are hypocrites.

How do we support the troops ??
By loving them dearly for the lives they risk every day !!
Being extremely concerned about their safety and well-being !!
Praying for them and their families every single day !!
Worrying that they are being used in some scheme that has nothing at all to do with what they are being told !!
Wondering daily why they are being placed in a routine of the same actions getting the exact same results with no improvement to the situation on and on and on and on and .....with the "stay the course" thing being the only rule of engagement !!
By being their friends and relatives that are horrified at the abandon that the system is using them in efforts that simply are not getting results with the exception of escalating conflict !!!
By knowing what they are going through at least in part --as a veteran of war myself !! ECT ECT ECT
This insane idea--that in order to be concerned and very supportive of the men and women in uniform has to be accompanied by some blind faith in the way they are being used is just absurd !!! It is an idea that goes hand in glove with the thing that says--- in order to be a good American --- you have to be in agreement with any crap that comes out of Washington !!
Well, my friend-- you could not be any more wrong !!!

Care packages, phone cards, words of support and encouragment. I don't support the war and I have a cousin who is in Iraq fighting, I love her and pray that she makes it home safe. Soldiers don't choose to go war, and most aren't fighting for the reasons giving by the administration. They are fighting for the men and women who are with them, trying to make sure they and all of their fellow soldiers make it home safe. My beef is with Bush not the soldiers.

i'd for sure desire for us to no longer be at conflict. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, I help the troops and need rather everyone could make it domicile for the type of stupid conflict. there's a delineation between helping troops and helping a conflict and its reason.

They do it the exact same way pro-war people do it. The only thing is that they are not for the war. Not a big deal or hard to understand. Anti-war people have family and friends over there too. No one is a hyponcrite because they don't want war. You are so far right you are in yourself.
