Homosexuality being evil. What is the point, I don't mean simply it's in the bible, but why. I know that killing is wrong, not because it's in the bible but because it takes something away from another... their life. But what does homosexuality do, it doesn't take away anyone else's rights, if some man feels they love a man more they have that right to, it doesn't do anything bad to the population.

Yeah, I realized the title was misleading, it makes me seem like I hate homosexuality, but I'm all for it, I'm just wondering why others hate it so fervently.

Read Exodus 20 & Romans 1. They explain the root reasons of homosexuality.
Lean not on your own understanding, but trust in the Lord.

We tend to think on direct terms of cause and effect. God is of course brilliant. He thinks millions or billions of steps in advance. He thinks of the effects of the effects of the effects.
Sure a direct cause of widespread homosexuality would be that the poplulation would dwindle to nothingness. But that's not why I think the Bible says it's wrong.
One reason is that it threatens the sanctity of family. What about same sex parents? That confuses (the child) about the quality differences between men and women. Children need a father to be a father and a mother to be a mother. Again, they need to understand what makes a man a man and a woman a woman. Parents influence the mind of a human being (during the formative years) more than any other person.
(The subtleness of the Bible by the way is another proof that the Bible is divinely inspired. Its genius is subtle. We are obvious.)

There is no reasoning behind homosexuality. Just as there is no reason behind most of the things in this world. I did not sit as a child and think..."Now why would I be homosexual?" Your question is very vague. However, after reading your explanation I think I understand. We are all made so differently.. and no, homosexuality is not going to destroy the family basis. We no more want to interrupt the herterosexual procreation than we want them telling us how to live. There will always be room for both in this huge world. Why can't we all just accept each other and go on with our lives? Maybe I am not clear in my answer but have never understood why so many people ponder this question? It is so simple..live and let live.

It's obviously no big deal, if a very prominent preacher such as Rev. Ted Haggard can see a male prostitute for three years, and buy illegal drugs to heighten the experiences. What is alarming is the hypocrisy, when they do those things, and then turn around and condemn others for doing the same things. I guess it is their way of making sure the spotlight is on everybody else, and not focused on the preacher. The Reverend's partial confession is attached. The rest of the truth will come out in time, despite his attempts to lie and cover it up.

1. It's disgusting for a man to take his penis and put in in a bag of sh*t! (and that includes anal 'sex' between a man and a woman!).
2. In physics, I learned that opposite attracts : poles of magnets, charges. So, it is unnatural for a man to be attracted to another man.
3. For those who claim that some animals are homosexual, does that justify HUMANS being homosexual? Are you saying that we are no more than brute animals? Haven't you evolved beyond that stage? Are homosexuals LESS evolved than heterosexuals?
How do you know that killing is wrong? How do you know that stealing is wrong? Is suicide wrong? What about euthanasia?
Would lying be wrong if it does NOT hurt someone? What do you base your morality on?
For Christians, we base our morality on the Bible. You are asking me to justify my morality WITHOUT using the Bible? Isn't that somewhat dimwitted?! Assume you have a US passport, birth certificate and Social Security Number, and you live in New York. You're then taken to Mexico, and all your money and identification papers are destroyed. Prove that you are a US citizen!!! You pull the rug from under me and still expect me to be standing? Isn't this the ultimate in asinine fatuity?

As a gay man and a Christian I see the scriptures talking not about two people of the same gender loving and caring for each other and expressing that love through physical intamacy but refering to people using same gender intercourse as a way to prove dominance and authority over others (the attempted rape of in the Sodom and Gomorrah story) or using it as a way to fornicate with out being called an adulterer all 7 other scriptures about same gender intercourse. We know that Paul's references were in letter directly addressing married church leaders having intercourse with minor boys because that was not considered adultry. We also know the the Levites had similar problems and that even to this day in middle eastern countries such as Afganastan the sexual abuse of minor males is used as a sign of strength and virility by the tribal lords.
Paul does a good job with explaining that one should not exchange the natural for the unnatural. As a gay man it is unnatural for me to engage in hetrosexual intercourse just as a straight man should not engage in homosexual intercourse.
It is also interesting to note that there is a same gender holy union in the bible between David and Johnathan because of their deep love and commitment to each other. I am not claiming that they were gay or bisexual or ever hade intimate relations but it also wold not suprise me if they did. The bible is clear about how devoted and passionately in love Johnathan was with david.

some researchers think that homosexuality is normaly about ten percent of the human population, and that it has never changed , even from before we became humans. If it has existed in nature and in human as a natural conditiuon it isd therefor a partt of Gods creation. If it is part of Gods creation how can it be evil. It just is.

As I can see you are seeing it from the perspective of logic and not want to just obeying what from Bible or other holybook. In medical aspect, homosexual is something threatened to your life. It ease sexual transmitted diseases (STD) and it also reduce health condition of the homo-practicioners. In the aspect of society, would you imagine if someday, most of people applying this thing? The human population will decrease, and it also bring other psychological problems. I am a Muslim, a medical student and I really opposing this practice of homosexual.

Your question is a little unclear. At first I thought you were saying being gay is evil...but now I think you are wondering why OTHER people think it is evil...
Did you know that they have found true homosexual relationships with animals in the wild? Most people think that homosexuality is a mental disorder...but more likely it is part of nature.

As far as I can tell, the reason everyone's up in arms about it is that homosexual relationships can't produce children. This goes against the whole "be fruitful and multiply" thing, which we don't really need anymore, but it's in the bible so it must be good. Though in that case, you'd think they'd also be against straight couples who can't have kids due to infertility or age or health problems, or just *gasp* not wanting to have kids.

If individuals only are interested in other individuals of the same gender than the species is threatened. That's where the revulsion comes from. Luckily 90%+ of us are interested in the other gender, so we take up the slack. II don't think being gay (at least for men) is a lifestyle choice, it's the way a man is wired. If you believe that sexuality is a lifestyle choice, than you believe the species is threatened.
