it works fine just remember when you thaw it and only use it for about a week as the expiration date will be different.

ive done it with whole milk and skim, must say that the whole milk freezes and defrosts better than the skim.

my grandparents do it all the time, and they are still alive, lol
and i did it when i was breastfeeding my children. so i don't know why you couldn't.
