Definitely sounds like he needs more exercise and mental stimulation. Sometimes walks just aren't enough. Dogs love to run and chase, so a good open field and some of his favorite toys being tossed about wouldn't hurt.

You can also give him mental stimulation in the home. Going over routine tricks with him gives him something to do. You can also buy toys that are designed to hold treats inside....he has to figure out how to get it out.

Dogs get bored just like we do and unleash it from time to time.

It depends on what kind of dog it is. I am pretty sure this is normal- it is just a puppy thing, but she may need to run around in the backyard a lot when this happens- so when she starts running around open the door and let her run free-minded. She feels that she has no place for fun and she will start behaving badly if you don't let her out. She will not obey your commands because she feels that you are keeping her in- let her explore out of the box insted of keeping her inside. No your dog is not going crazy- just some advice from me

My dog used to do the same thing every day at about the same time everyday. So I just started taking her out in the back yard and playing with her about a half hour before these little episodes would come on. It worked really well and she stopped tearing up the house.

It is a pretty young puppy and most puppies are really hyper around that age. Maybe you need to take him out some more and let him run around your backyard for a while. You don't need to worry yet, but if he gets older and still acts like this maybe you should consider a vet.

Fred (our dog) does that still at age 2. He needs to burn off some energy. What we do is take his ball and throw it down the hallway until he gets tired. About 15-20 mins. Have the kids do this. After that he lays down and goes to sleep.

hes havin a daft 30 seconds nothing to worry about. hes burning off some energy and as long as he aint hurting anyone or anything let him be. youre giving him plenty of exercise by far he just needs to be daft and entertain himself every once in a while.

your dog is not crazy. i have a st.bernard and he use to do that all the time. if he is still a puppy then he is just letting energy out because is so hyper and just let him outside if he keeps doing it. he will get over that little phase as he gets older so dont worry about it, just let him out and you and your kids will be fine
