i hope it's not from media...in 1975, time magazine, newsweek , and the new york times in 1974..all were warning of doom via a coming ice age...look back in history, the media has flip flopped on this several times..
heres a fun one..the l.a. times featured an op-ed by naomi oreskes a social scientist at the university of california and the author of a "Science" magazine study...she said that 928 scientific papers showed that there was a 100% agreement that global warming was not caused naturally...pretty convincing huh?...but the analysis in "science" excluded nearly 11,000 studies that dealt with global warming...so actually only 2 % cited man as the problem of global warming....this is how the media spins......

Oh my..... I always wondered if anyone was actually buying that garbage about man destroying the world. It is a proven scientific fact that the last eruption of Mt. Saint Helens expelled more carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide into the atmosphere then man has combined during his entire existence on the planet. Seriously, that is one eruption of one volcano. You are an egotistical fool if you think that man can hurt this planet. Short of a global scale thermonuclear war there is nothing we can do to permanently altar this earth.
Now of course a person would be a fool to intentionally try to hurt the planet, or to not recycle, because there are many rare earth minerals and metals and resources that are very limited in their supply. I am an avid recycler. I dont want my grandchildren to have to dig up the old landfills ( US Trash ), or drag the ocean bottom ( Chinas Trash ) in order to find enough steel and aluminum to manufacture their daily necessities. But just because I recycle and support planting 2 trees for everyone we cut down, does not mean I buy into the liberal extreme left wing mind screw that intends to convince everyone of a bunch of lies so that they can then control the world through fear and stupidity.
My humble opinion is in short, be honest with your environment. Use only what you need and recycle as much as possible. Ice ages come and go, periods of global warming come and go. Man either exists or he doesn't on this planet. The planet doesn't even know we are here.

Undoubtedly global warming is an issue to be taken very seriously. A recent study has warned that if no action is taken to control carbon emissions we will have a world GDP reduction of 7trillion$ which is nearly 1/7. Also we observe sea levels rising and polar caps melting. Besides strange events are occurring which we never found 50 years earlier. We have floods in Rajasthan in India most of the area being a desert. We have unseasonal rains leading to floods and loss of life and property and so on. We have animal species going extinct. God only knows what further events will unfold in times to come.

Interesting. The media does tend to spin things, because their bottom line is to make money (at all costs??). Anyways, I think it is good that they scare us with this global warming thing, because people can force companies to stop doing things that are detrimental to the environment and that is a good thing. Who cares about media spin and percentages, it is clear that we need to continue to work to protect the environment. No, I am not a tree hugger, but I want future generations to live on a clean earth. thanks.

I'de decide to assert that Haley is pretentious and her physique of concepts comes off as elitist and he or she could desire to quit being so self-adulating. Get off your severe horse criticizing people for there ideals using fact they are no longer "specialists." advance up. various evidence shows that there is alot of sensational journalism and exaggeration by capacity of political elites on medical documents relating to international warming, and that throughout the way it incredibly is presented in "An Inconvenient actuality" is unsuitable. in case you opt to be close minded and pay attention on your MSNBC circulate forward.

You're kidding me, right?
