Satan is jealous because Satan wants all of God's power for himself. Lucifer was not happy with the gifts that God had given him; he wanted the gifts that God didn't give him, that were rightfully God's.
No, Satan does not want to see people happy. He will offer and provide people with things that they think they want, but these "gifts" will prove themselves to be illusory, in that ultimately they don't bring happiness but instead create within the person the need for more, or something different.
As far as Satan's loneliness goes...anyone is lonely when they willingly cut themselves off from God. The best they can manage is to distract themselves from their loneliness, and one way they distract themselves is by seeking to hoard lots of stuff that isn't God's. Satan seeks to hoard human souls, so as those souls no longer belong to God. So, whatever loneliness Satan may have, it is best that you not go around getting caught up in compassion for his plight, because the fact is that he hates you and will exploit any potential weakness to lure you away from God. That is, if you have compassion for Satan, he will not be moved. He will just see that as an opportunity to attempt to murder your soul.

Satan is out to steal the worship that is due the Creator. That was his intention from the moment pride was found in him.
The verse that jesus used to describe how happy satan would like to see people is John 10:10 which says, The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Maybe Satan isn't jealous of God. The information you have comes from God. So, maybe God is manipulating you to think that Satan is unhappy.

Your spending too much time, thinking of satan. Don't sympathize with him. he is not jealous, but rather dispises anything in regards to God. We don't really know what is in the spirit of the evil one. You should not spend more time thinking of satan, then you do God. Think of God all the time and exclude the thought of satan. Good prevails over evil.

Satan is jealous of anyone who has the promise of salvation through Jesus Christ, because he knows that he blew his chance to live with God in heaven. Is he lonely? I don't think so, he has demons and fallen angels.

Nope. I don't think that he's lonely at all. If you read the biblical account you'll see that he was able to convert 1/3 of the host of heaven to follow him. Wow. This is major. If 1/3 of the country decided that it would be better to revolt against their country and be cast out than to follow their leader then would would this say about the leader?

When did he tell you that? I mean, when did you speak to him? ;) To be serious. That Satan is jealous, is man-made information. Therefore answer can be anything, there can be many answers, I guess.
