i am sorry you had a bad experience on top of a already awful experience for you dog. Most on here do care, as I do. I apologize for all those who arent as sympathetic. Take care.

Sorry you had a bad experience-- I didn't see your question. I usually answer questions as respectfully as possible, unless I'm really drunk.

You should take your dog to a vet, however. Vet care is something you should find out about (where's the nearest vet, how much do they charge for shots/office visits, etc.) BEFORE getting a dog.

I choose not to go to the doctor myself, but I take my dogs for regular vet care; I always know the vet's office hours and where the nearest pet emergency room is.

You can make a decision on your own not to get regular medical care, but your pets DO need to be seen regularly by a vet-- because they can't always tell you when they are sick or not feeling well, and they need their vaccinations.

So-- DO take your dog to the vet and as soon as you can, have her spayed so that you won't have to worry about her being assaulted by other dogs when she is in heat.

If you are angry with the way someone has posted answers to your question:

1. EDIT your original question and vent your anger there
2. if they have been VERY offensive, report them or thumbs down
3. Ignore them

Posting a completely different message like this is just REALLY confusing and does not even contain a question. If one of the people that you are annoyed with now wished to be petty, THEY could report YOU to Yahoo!

I didn't see your original question but if several people all made unhelpful remarks did YOU take time effort and trouble to make sure your question was simple to understand, with punctuation and bothering to use spell-check? Some folks DO get the hump when people ask badly worded questions I'm afraid.

You didn't say a male dog jumped your fence until AFTER people assumed you'd bred your dog. People shouldn't assume, but don't get defensive when you didn't give all the facts in the first place.

Now, your dog is sick.....definitely sick from the sounds of it. It's highly likely that the male that jumped your fence gave her something not-so-pleasant. Get her to a vet.

(OK, I just went back and looked at your other question....and you NEVER stated a dog jumped your fence. You just said your dog was bred on Oct. 24th. What else were people supposed to infer from that?)

You really should take her to the vet. Pregnant or not there seems to be something wrong with her. That a way you will know for sure if she is pregnant or not and what is wrong with her if she isn't. Male dogs will do just about anything to get to female in heat. Don't take what the people say to heart, some people are just mean and nasty. Please take her to the vet.

When a female is in season she should never be left unattended unless she is is a solid carrier/crate! I didn't see your original question, but believe me I know accidents occur and accidents like this can only be resolved by having animals spayed or neutered. If you choose to go ahead and have the puppies, the gestation period is 62 days. But if she is more than 2 weeks away from her due date, she can have doggie abortion and no one would hold that against you.

You must realize, most of us with pets consider them like our family members and we are all overprotective of our babies.

Sorry for your unpleasantness.

But, you were not accurate with your question or comment. People do not read between the lines.

I hope your dog is okay. Sounds like a Vet visit should have already been in the works.

Roostergirl - this is not how you handle this. You add additional details to your question.

You left an unspayed dog in heat outside where a male dog could get to her. You expect us to be sympathetic for that.

Now, your dog is foaming at the mouth, not eating, has runny poop, is 'lost in a fog', is weak, and has numerous other problems. You don't know that she needs to go to the vet. How do you expect people to react???

You are leaving your dog to suffer while you are on here, on a non-animal site, asking people what is wrong with your dog. And now, rather than running your dog to the vet, you are starting an entirely new question to let people know that you are upset with *them* - not upset about your dog!!!

You have some serious priority issues. Your dog is laying there dying and it's more important to you to tell us off. Sigh.

Your question wasn't very clear but I am sorry people were rude. I do hope you got your dog to the vet. There could have been any number of reasons for this and one of them could have been that the puppies died in-utero. I am not a vet and these symptoms could be indicative of a number of illnesses. Please let us know what the vet diagnosed.

IF your dog was IN HEAT and you left it outside for even a SECOND, even in a fenced in yard, IT IS YOUR FAULT IF IT IS PREGNANT!!!!
You never, never leave a female unattended for even a second if you even think she may be in heat. If you do not KNOW how to tell she is in heat, then you should not have an unspayed dog.....which you should not anyway!!!!!!!!!!
