I don't know where you can find a video. But i am happy to hear that you are doing a speech about this. I work in a vet clinic, and i see it done at least once a week. The cats wake up VERY painful, even when they have morphine on board. And a lot of times once they are home they rip their little paws open again.
There are many alternatives to declawing. Like teaching them that a scratch post is the appropriate place to scratch.
Or there is something called soft paws. They are soft plastic caps that you can put over the claws. I use them on my cat. They don't hurt at all, you only put it on their nail, it doesn't touch their skin. They come in different colors, including blue, pink, and natural.
I hope that helps.

i'm so happy which you desperate to no longer declaw your little kitten. Declawing includes the removing of the toe as much as the 1st knuckle, no longer basically the nail. this is an quite severe operation. The cat (or regrettably kitten) could have a detrimental character. they're going to grow to be biters and much less specific of themselves. additionally they're going to adventure shoulder discomfort by using their posture issues from having to overcompensate for the imbalance brought about via declawing. there are maximum of cons to declawing that it relatively is going to be unlawful everywhere. the only reason human beings declaw is laziness. in case you undertake a cat/kitten, it is your duty to look after it and do it no harm. i'm so happy with you for no longer declawing your priceless kitten. you've a a lot happier cat because of the fact of it.

no but just read this:
-declawing can limit the cats ability to defend it's self.
-some cats cats claw things and get declawed because there onwers are to lazy to spray citrus fluids on the clawed items
-rachel is been prermently declawded by her prevous owner and hunts reguarly and brings me her kill because iam her baby!
