This is getting pretty irritating, so I'm going to point this out right here and now. If you like him/her you should get to know them better. Become their friends before you have these thoughts and you won't regret the "Pre-teen Doom" or in other words, them saying no. All it takes is knowing you can move your mouth and words will come out.

I realize that they don't wanna face the rejection, but that is something that most people have to go through to find out what they really like in people.

oh my freaking gosh
you are so right. everytime i see those questions i feel like rolling my eyes. they should have their own section. I dont know why yahoo premits anymore questions like these. on the top put search and type in your question and you get like 10000 dumb questions like those. ack!!!!
its so annoying.

They are asking it because that is the main thing on their minds.

They are hoping that someone has a solution that does not involving the scary idea of actually facing rejection by talking to that person.

Most people on here are scared to talk to the other person. They just want someone else's point of view.

because the one's asking are in high school still and this is all new to them. lately, I've been skipping those because i wish they would do just what you said
