The correct answer is no. The title doesn't need to be changed. You could, but there's no need. If you go to your local DMV office you can change the info so that when your license plate renewal comes in the mail, it will be registered with your proper address. The title is a non-issue; the only time you'll need it is when you sell or trade the car, and at that point your address would be immaterial, and your correct address will be on the title to the new car. Hope this info helped.

Your plan will not work. You will be arrested and fined for no title and registration. The US is a group of united STATES, each with their own laws. When you move to a new state you must title and register your car in your new state. It is the law! How about your insurance? There is a chance that your Washington Insurance is not valid in Colorado. You may be uninsured as well. Since you are in the USA, Thanks to many, many men and women who over the years have fought and died to give you the right to complain. You also have a right to move to whichever country you might find that lets you ignore their laws. Remember to close the door on your way out.

Nope, just call the dmv and give them your new address info and have them change it in their computers
