=I would sit down with my parents and ask them why hey feel this way. Maybe they have misunderstood something which is why hey have forbidden you too go to th library. This should help clear the air and with a little luck hey will let you go. there is also a library in your school where you could do research and the Internet if you have a computer at home. Good luck.

Is there a reason that they do not allow you to go to the library? Either way, they are your parents and you need to respect their wishes. If they are willing to accompany you to the library, ask them to go with you. However, you have to go there for a good reason like studying or to check out a book or other media. Don't go there to goof around.

Be embarassed that they found out of all the things you look up on the internet there, or the people you meet (or met) in chatrooms.
Too many kids think their parents don't find out, but there arte lots of squealers in the world.

Tell them you like to read. They won't deny you that sweet, sweet knowledge. If they do play drama queen.
"Who have heard of parents that deny their child the right of free information?!"
