in Qld all the vets will take a native bird or animal & fix it up if they can
lots of times you can look after the bird/animal if you want to
after it has been treated
i wouldn't put anything human on the bird
really you should ask a vet or better still take it to the vet

Yes, use Betadine by all means. But the bird must be checked by a specialists to see if the wing is broken. Anyway, what you must do for the moment, is disinfect the wound and keep the bird in a shoe box with holes for air (not a cage, wild birds are too stressed when they are exposed from all sides), toped with a wired frame like from your fridge, attached in a way he can't push it off and get out. Put a small bowl of water and one with food (seeds, etc, but not rice) in the box, and have a newspaper at the bottom so that you can change it and keep it clean. Try to find a wildlife rehabilitation hospital near you.

Bring your bird to an emergency 24-hour avain vet ASAP - RIGHT NOW. Your bird may still go into shock, your bird probably has blood loss and is dehydrated, and most importantly cat saliva contains bacteria that can be FATAL to birds within 12-24 hours of the attack. (Saliva will be on their teeth obviously, but the bacteria get onto their claws also when they clean themselves.)
Antiseptic is not good enough, as that only goes on the surface, and the bacteria have probably gotten into the bird's blood already. Your bird will probably need oral antibiotics, and if it's already suffering from the bacteria it might need intravenous injections. There's nothing you can do at home to save him.

Hopefully, your bird will live. Nearly, all the time, any bird who has been wounded or scratched by a cat , Never survives. Can be days after the attack that the bird will die. A cats claws are poisonious to a bird. Then days after the attack the cat will come back to eat the bird. I hope you can save the bird. Try the aniseptic, as it is worth a try. Good Luck !

If you arn't willing to take a hurt animal to a vet you obviously don't care all that much.
At the very least call one and ask for advice!

cpinatsi gave good advice...listen to it. Betadine is fine, but you really should call a local rehab, as they can give it the care it needs as it is illegal for you to keep it in your possession.
