The blonde hair could have been a recessive gene in both of your parents that just happened to come out in you luckily or unluckily.

Does any of your grandparents have blonde hair???You could of gotten your blonde hair from family genetics which means other members of your family are blonds. If there are no blonds then kiddo, you may be adopted or your dad really isn't your dad. Why don't you just ask your parents....

Its genetics, maybe someone else in your family has blonde hair (aunt, uncle, grandparents...). Genetics go back far in the past, so there is a very good chance some of your ancestors had blonde hair. Every family is linked with another family, which all connect to others and so forth.

Someone at some point had blonde hair in your family. I have brown hair and my spouse has black hair. My dad apparently was born with blonde hair and it ended up being brown later on in life.

Ok, my sister is the same, just because none of your parents have blonde hair now, they might have when they were little or your age, and as well a family member might have it as well, your parents genes are not just theirs they are everyone in their families as well they just didnt get the same combination as their other siblings or family members did, so ask your parents what color of hair they had when they were little and maybe ask your grandparents or aunts and uncles the same, good luck on this.

My grandparents both have black hair/brown eyes, and had two kids with brown/black, and my mom with blonde/blue eyes.

My mom had 5 kids with brown hair/brown eyes (my dad brown/brown too)

My huband and I both have brown hair/brown eyes, and our first daughter is blonde/blue eyes.

As long as both parents hold the gene even if they don't show it, it can happen. So basically, one distant relative on your mom and dad's side must be blonde.

Don't let it get to you, I get jokes about my daughter all the time, it's silly.
