You know my situation is, I started dating one of my friends boyfriends cousin, well my friend intentionally sabatoged the relationship. This has caused many problems because me and the guy are still dating, now I am through with my friend. Another thing, I am in an interracial relationship, why did all of my friends ditch me when they found out who I was dating? Only one of my friends has stuck throught this with me, but all of my long term best friends have totally ditched me. I am so pissed about this, I feel like all of my friends abandoned me when I needed them the most. I am talkingfriends I have had for 10 years up and ditching me over this. Why is there so much racism in the world today. I just want to date who I want and be happy. I truly love this guy, and he loves me too. No one understands what I am going through. Any commments or suggestions appreciated.

Hard times bring out the worst in people. Some people find that difficult times are "contagious".

I've had it happen, and think everyone does at some point their lives. I know it is hard to see it now, but you will later find that it was a good housecleaning for you.

You never had real friends to begin with apparently.
Don't worry. Things like this happens.
It has happened to me. Except she said some really mean things behind my back because she was jealous of me. But in person, she acted like nothing happened.
These things happen throughout life. It's just the way it is.
I know it's a shame. But maybe you're just meant to replace those people who you THOUGHT were friends with REAL friends.
Act like it doesn't worry you one bit.
That way, they won't feel encouraged to keep stabbing you in the back.
Act like you're better off without them.
Like you don't NEED them.

Well, maybe they have had a bad experience/ heard bad things about this boy. Also it might be a bit strange ffor your friend to think that you and her relation are going out. I think that if you explain to them that you two are in love they might see if differently. If they won't stick up for you then they are not true friends are they ?!?! this sort of time is good to see who you can rely on.

Seems like you need to redeifine the term friend! Friend don't do what you say is being done to you!

I really feel for you. I am going through a similar situation. It sucks. It really is an eye opening experience.
