I was listening in to a talk by the Prime Minister of Turkey the other day, and he was talking about his visit to Darfur, Sudan.

As you know the area looks like its being stomped down by civil war and terrorism. And he made a very interestng point and mentioned that the area was not indeed as war ridden as they show us on tv. But he did say that the people were so poor, the tents they lived in werent tents at all...they had no proper hospitals, no water, no food, no electricity. Nothing.

He said, when they asked the authorities if they got help from the UN, they only pointed at the jeeps that had UN written on them and said they send reporters and then pay the reporters their daily allowance and say its the help theyre sending out to the Sudaneese.

The point of the story my friend, being able to manage capital, human resources and information is what makes an economy and economy. You dont see Malaysians making extreme comments do you?

Poverty is the fuel of terrorism, and the people who perform acts of terorism are the ones that are doing what is the only thing they know to fight the poverty ridden homes they have. Fighting.

Peace out

I'm not Muslim, but I agree with you. I have a ton of friends that are Muslim and with the exception of one, all love the United States and hate the rap they have been getting. I know that Islam means "peace," and I just wish there was something we could do to show the people that like Christians, only the extremists are the problem. Your everyday Muslims can be some of the sweetest people you ever meet.

No I don't. I think that it has to do with culture's imposing a "war" on any kaffur. They teach their children to be little terrorists, thus knowing that is not the way Islam is. So we end up having good Muslim children and an Islamic Radical terrorists youth group like with Hitler. Target the young to think like that and you end up brinwashing them. There will always be extremists not just in Islam but in Judaism and Christianity as well. Remember the Crusades? No matter what we do we'll never be rid of them. The only way we can deal with this is to speak out and keep condoning these attacks. ALLAHU AKBAR!

The problem is the Koran does teach extremism's. The more educated about the true Islamic teachings the more extreme they are. The Koran does encourage Jihad. The religion itself is extreme. The religion is to be feared by the west and any who believe in its teachings are to be feared. The non-extremist Muslims are ones who are not thoroughly knowledgeable about their own religion.

Islam is a dangerous, demonic ideology. There's extremism in every religion. This is true. But in Islam it is not extremism but what their god and their prophet call for. Terrorists are just doing Islam very well. Moderate Muslims are either, very bad Muslims or they are lying. Their book and their god tells them to lie and says it's ok to lie. Because their god is the father of lies. My prayer is for Muslims to get set free of such evil.

Learn true Arabic. Understanding true Islam, is by understanding the Quran and ahadith, which are best done by reading them in their original form, in Arabic.

It would have been much better in Pakistan, if they had chosen Arabic as their official language instead of Urdu.

It is not the lack of Islamic knowledge. It is because of the misconception and misunderstanding of Islamic teachings.Non existant of proper religious head or caliphate among generalised Muslim community may be one of the reasons.

Why blame only Extremists?
Eminem once said: "NO MORE BLOOD FOR OIL, WE HAVE OUR OWN PROBLEMS TO SOLVE ON OUR OWN SOIL."
LIVE AND LET LIVE YOU IDIOTS AND STOP BECOMING OIL VAMPIRES and maybe you'll see the difference.
