Usually around 3 is when they have their first cleaning...it is difficult for even a pediatric dentist to work on a child that is younger. At 3 they are also able to better understand what is going on and be lass afraid.

As soon as a kid has teeth they can go to the dentist if needed.
If their teeth look like they are decaying, or anything abnormal, then you can check the dentists in your area to see if they treat small children.
Some people say it is not worth getting a small child's teeth treated but that is not true.
Teeth that are decaying and left untreated can affect the way the adult teeth grow in, causing various dental problems.
Also if your kid's teeth are visibly rotting or unhealthy it can cause embarrassment and social torment by other children.
My son had some problems with his teeth because he was breastfeeding all night until almost two, which affected his teeth and I took care of them, which I thought was worth the money.

It's at your discretion, but before 3 years old is a waste of money. At around 3 you should take her to make sure everything has come in properly and that no decay is forming. Also, if you start her younger she may be less likely to develop a fear of the dentist as many older children do.

You can have your child checked by a dentist as soon as he started eating solid foods. 1-2 yrs old are generally the time to visit a dentist..

When I took my son at age one, my dentist said it okay to bring them as early as six months if they have teeth. Remember that these teeth they are getting need to be healthy so that their permanest teeth are healthy too. Talk to a pediatric dentist in your area for their advice. I don't think it's too soon.

As soon as she`s ready. When she can open her mouth on demand and understand whats going on, She`s ready. Ofcourse, whiles shes REALLY little it might be comforting to her if you went back to the room with her, but older children (4+) tend to yell more and act badly wanting to leave when the mother is there, hoping for sympathy.

I started taking my kids around 1 year when they had just a few teeth. I would make your daughter's first appointment soon.
