People who let their dogs run around without a leash are just waiting for a lawsuit. It doesn't matter how "tame" they think their dog is, they don't know what would trigger it to attack. It's usually the least likely one that attacks, too. And the thing that is always said after is "I'm just so surprised that this happened! He/she was such a good dog! He/she has never done this before!!" Meanwhile, there's a mangled up person in a hospital bed, whose life will never be the same. I would definitely say something to either your neighbor or Animal Control. It is the law!!
Good luck!!

Even if it isn't leaving it's own yard, it's still breaking the law if you live in an area where they have leash laws... A leash law states that anytime a dog is in public, they have to be on a leash - that would technically be public, since the dog could easily run out of the yard and bite somebody or get hit by a car.
Talk to your neighbor if you know them well enough - or call Animal Control and tell them. It's for the dog's own best interest to be on a leash.

I'm not sure what the problem is as long as the dog is staying in it's own yard. We don't use a leash on our dog in our yard, it is very hard for her to fetch with a leash on. I say if the dog is staying home then you should get over it.

Call animal control or the police and tell them to ENFORCE your local leash law!!! It doesn't matter if he is in their yard, leashed means leashed!
If people weren't allowed to let their dogs roam loose we would have much fewer dog attacks and much fewer unwanted litters being born.

Damn you sound like my new neighbor. Nothing as long as it doesn't mess with me or my yard. Don't call the law-ever heard of Karma or what goes around comes around?

As long as it stays in there front yard, nothing!! if it keeps running in your yard or the street, id talk to them about it and if the problem persists, call animal control, thats how dogs get stolen and hit by cars!

As long as it was'nt pooping in my yard or running out in the street I'd mind my own buisness and not worry about it.

Leave it alone or if its a mean dog then you should call the animal control and let them tell Your Neighbor to put that dog on a chain.
